week&groove – White Christmas

This week’s track is White Christmas by Corporal Blossom. Well today is a snow day in my intimate part of Beirut, and I have an urge to start feeling the holiday flavor. Radio doesn’t help. These stations should start selling cheese instead of playing infested Christmas tunes. What better way to re-educate the world on the true meaning of musical sharing than by a snappy version of “White Christmas” sung by multiple artists (Louie Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross and The Supremes). The (de)construction was conceived by New York artist “Corporal Blossom” who appears on multiple “Illegal Art” projects as part of the continuous fight against digital copyright restrictions mainly using mp3 sharing and thrift store vinyl.
